In Singapore, the Factories (Industrial Safety Helmets) Notification 1986 requires all industrial safety helmets provide and maintain for the use of persons employed in a factory under SS 98 : 1997 Factories Act to be tested to conform to the Singapore Standard SS 98 : 1997 specification for Safety Helmets.
